The paintings are deliberate and intuitive.  The marks occur in many variations on many surfaces. Surfaces are canvas, paper and wood. 
Lost in time construction occurs.
I respond visually in my own cryptic manner to influences that are philosophical, poetic, musical.  
Nature is an influence, often subliminal in a lot  of the images. Nature’s effect over time on an urban wall.  The erosion is time exposed, with the fragments of experience.  The weather, plus human made effects intertwine to create ​visual tension.
Paper studies lead up to larger paintings, although not copies.  
The work can lead to an imaginative, very personal visual feeling.
Multiple media, art processes, experimental and traditional come together to create a surface that works.
